What the Festival Says: Lansing Pride’s goal is to bring Lansing’s LGBTQIA+ spaces together and foster a sense of love.
What the Festival Says: The festival premiered in 2019 and was an immediate hit, drawing thousands of guests from around the state and beyond. In 2020, a socially-distanced version of the festival was held in support of local artists and small businesses, and had a safe, successful turnout. The 2021 festival saw unprecedented crowds, as thousands of Michiganders were eager to kick off spooky season. FOO ’22 again saw record-breaking crowds, prompting us to decide upon a two day festival for 2023. 2023 was our best year yet, once again exceeding all expectations with a crowd size that nearly doubled! We can’t wait to do it again in 2024!
What the Festival Says: Charlotte Frontier Days was founded in 1970 by Steve Musselman. Musselman set out to enhance the city of Charlotte through community involvement with a festival that, still today, draws in thousands of people from Michigan and beyond. Musselman put together a successful and entertaining festival that has become a tradition for more than 50 years.
What the Festival Says: Enjoy a weekend of energy, excitement, music and coming together again as a community, where we can reconnect with old friends and make new ones.
