What the Artists Say: Shelby & Jake Zemla are a husband-and-wife duo that formed back in 2008. The pair met at Corey’s Lounge in Lansing where Shelby was Jake’s server, and they quickly discovered their love for music (and each other).

What the Artists Say: The Dangling Participles are a Lansing-based band with a diverse song set ranging from folk and Americana to Latin jazz and blues. The band’s soulful vocals—shared by Tamiko Rothhorn and Austin Kaufmann—give the group its signature sound, rich in harmonies. Austin anchors the group on guitar and harmonica, with Tamiko adding cornet and ukulele. Tim Patterson fills out the low end on his upright bass and adds backing vocals. Dan Moreno rounds out the rhythm section on drums.
What the Artists Say: Abbey Hoffman is a New York City-raised, Lansing-based alt-folk singer/songwriter. She has been performing around Lansing since 2012, in solo shows and as a (former) vocalist for The Lansing Unionized Vaudeville Spectacle. Current member of Super Secret Cult Band.
