What the Group Says: LanSINGout Chorus, a not-for-profit community chorus, was organized to provide the opportunity for LGBTQ+ persons and their allies to sing and display their talents together. The primary purpose of the chorus is musical excellence in performance. While striving to achieve this purpose, the chorus provides social and fellowship experiences that deepen and enrich singers lives as well as the lives of everyone in the community.
What the Group Says: Celebrating 10 years of “Building Community through Song,” Delta Community Choir (CC) is a not-for-profit adult SATB choir that combines the love of choral singing with community service. The choir performance two concerts each year (spring and winter) and charges no admission. However, each concert spotlights a local non-profit organization that benefits from freewill donations from audience members. No vocal audition is required to join the choir…but being nice and having a sense of humor is helpful. This is an opportunity for experienced singers–as well as non-experienced singers–to come together to combine the joy of choral singing with community service.
